"I can't breathe" alternated with "hands up...don't shoot" as thousands of chanting protesters marched peacefully down Pennsylvania Avenue towards the Capitol on Saturday December 13th as part of a nation-wide response to the highly-publicized decisions of two separate grand juries, in Staten Island, New York and Ferguson, Missouri not to indict white police officers for the deaths of the unarmed Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
